Darren made a decent start on a poor surface to heat 3 of this meeting and found himself in second place right behind his team mate going into bend 3. Joe Haines briefly lost control and Darren took avoiding action. This unfortunately left Darren mighty close to the fence so Darren bailed and was ran into by opposition number 4 Harland Cook. Darren was excluded from the re-run however was OK to continue in the meeting.

In his second race Darren found himself in first position for all four laps and was never troubled, his team mate finished second however was quite a way behind Darren!

In Darren's third Race he made a poor start and found himself in third place coming out of the second bend. Darren had a huge amount of drive and was coming up the inside of Jerran Hart until Jerran turned left to stop the pass! This unsettled Darren and made him lose ground which he couldn't make back up!

And in Darren's final race of the meeting he jumped out of the gate and was 15 metres clear coming out of the second bend. Darren went on to win the race by over 25 metres, and his quickest time of the season. 61.08

In heat 3 Darren made a good start and found himself in second position coming out of the second bend! He managed to hold onto this position comfortably and secured the first 5-1 of the meeting with James Brundle, bringing the scores back level to 9-9!"

In his second outing Darren found himself off of gate four with Tai Woffinden, Ty Proctor and James Brundle on the inside of him. He seemed to make the gate with the other three however was pushed mightily hard and almost had to bail out. He however managed to hang on but was left with too much to do! He chased hard and closed the gap by the end of the race.

In his third outing Darren didn't make the start and found himself in 4th positon coming out of bend 2. He was close to the rider in third but couldn't find a way past!

And in his fourth scheduled race he was due to be replaced by team mate Simon Lambert, however due to bike problems on Lambert's side he regained his place in the race! He made a lightening quick start and was in second place before being passed on the third lap, and again on the final lap!

Darren will next be in action the day after the British GP at the Norfolk Arena for the Boston Barracudas when they face Sittingbourne Crusaders!

In heat 1 Darren made a good start and was leading going into bend 3. However ref stopped the race as Cockle and Jones came together on the first bend! In the re-run Darren was second coming out of the second bend and settled for the 3-3  with his team mate.

In his second ride Darren made a hash of the start and found himself well at the back behind his team mate.

In his third outing he team rode with James Cockle for the 3-3 ensuring that Boston kept in front!

In his fourth ride he was off the out side gate and didn't make the best jumps at all. He did however stick his back wheel in the right place and fired himself round the bend to bring him into first position! His bike wasn't quite set up and almost got caught on the final lap!

In his final ride of the evening he and team mate James Cockle did enough to ensure Boston had the tie on aggregate. This results see them into the semi-final of the Knock Out Cup where they will face Lincolnshire rivals Scunthorpe!
